Kuiper has operated in Singapore since January 2010, serving as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region. Since converging with OCB Oilfield Services in 2015, Kuiper has increased its capabilities and ability to deliver throughout the Middle East, India, Africa and Europe. Over 20,000 active local and expatriate experts comprise Kuiper’s database of general and specialist personnel across myriad industries and disciplines — global oil and gas, construction, drilling, subsea, marine, maintenance, hook-up and commissioning industries. Chief Executive Officer
With successful, established, and diverse experiences across the Oil and Gas sector, Mark has worked on multiple ventures in several companies including McDermott, Allseas, Saipem, Clough, Fraser Diving, and Brunel. Mark began his offshore career as a diver in 2001, then moved to back deck construction work, before moving to Dubai in 2007 with McDermott where he successfully handled diving division projects. In Brunel, Mark was responsible for the company’s Technical Services expansion into the Middle East.
In 2010, Mark co-founded Kuiper International, serving as Director and General Manager, then expanding Kuiper into Asia and Australia until it was acquired by OCB Oilfield Services in January 2016.
Regional Managing Director, ASIAPAC
Craig has over 20 years’ experience and has held numerous leadership positions, from being on the Board of Directors to overseeing project management, personnel logistics, industrial/employee relations management, and strategy. Before joining Kuiper, Craig was Regional Director and Board Member with Brunel Energy Australia Pty Ltd, responsible for Australian and New Zealand entities and leading project services (contract execution, performance, HSE and Risk Management, P&L, and business & relationship development).
Besides winning numerous safety awards, Craig has grown businesses from AUD$50m to a steady AUD$200m over a 5-year period while maintaining strong, stable teams in stressful working environments. He joined the Kuiper Team in Perth in February 2015.
Regional Managing Director, EMEA&I
John has over 20 years’ experience in managing and delivering global Human Resource solutions to the international upstream oil and gas industry. He has established and directed international manpower services companies and has a strong track record at HR Director level within both the E&P and Offshore Drilling sectors. John leverages on his combined experience to deliver unique insights that provide our clients with straightforward, high-quality, reliable solutions across the full range of international HR services.
John is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and is currently studying an Executive MBA at Henley Business School, England.
Director & Senior Advisor
Harry began his career as a Barge Admin Clerk in Australia in 1967, worked his way up to Base Manager for McDermott in Singapore. After his 30 year tenure with McDermott, he then moved to Perth Australia as a consultant for various offshore company’s. He then joined Brunel from 2002 to 2009 and developed their Technical Services division, both in Australia and Internationally. In 2010, Harry co-founded Kuiper Singapore, then opened Kuiper Australia two years later, growing both businesses successfully until the acquisition by OCB Oilfield Services in January 2016.
Group HSEQ Manager
Adam has over 25 years of experience in management teams across various industries including defence, construction, and power & energy, and transitioned to Oil and Gas 10 years ago, where he has worked on multiple projects for high-value clients. He joined Kuiper in 2015 as HSEQ Manager, bringing extensive knowledge and certifications in occupational health and safety, management, and recruitment to the role.
Chief Financial Officer
Simon, a Chartered Accountant, joined Gulf Capital in January 2017 from Restrata Group where he served as CFO and Commercial Director. He is currently CFO for the Kuiper Group.
Simon has more than twenty-five years of experience and has held a number of senior management positions in Europe and the Middle East. These include General Manager of Transguard’s Cash in Transit division in the UAE and CFO at Shozu, a mobile phone application service. Prior to moving into industry, Simon was Corporate Finance Director at Arthur Andersen leading many M&A transactions and Corporate Recovery Manager at Binder Hamlyn where he carried out numerous investigations for banks and turnarounds.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Computing from the University of Kent at Canterbury. As well as becoming a Chartered Accountant he also qualified under the societies of the Securities Institute and the Insolvency Practitioners in the UK.
