Simultaneous operations are when two or more jobs need to be completed at the same time. One or more jobs must stop to allow the most important to take priority. No task is so urgent that it need to be completed in conjunction of another. Stop the job and proceed with the safest option.

Ask open-ended questions and show genuine interest in the other person’s experiences and perspectives Get them to talk and vent; Don’t sit in judgment.

Separate the workers involved to prevent the situation from escalating. Write them up for inappropriate behaviour in the workplace. If the issue continues in the next hours, days, or weeks, have them changed to different crews so they don’t work together.
