Simon, a Chartered Accountant, joined Gulf Capital in January 2017 from Restrata Group where he served as CFO and Commercial Director. He is currently CFO for the Kuiper Group.
Simon has more than twenty-five years of experience and has held a number of senior management positions in Europe and the Middle East. These include General Manager of Transguard’s Cash in Transit division in the UAE and CFO at Shozu, a mobile phone application service provider. Prior to moving into industry, Simon was Corporate Finance Director at Arthur Andersen leading many M&A transactions and before that Corporate Recovery Manager at Binder Hamlyn where he carried out numerous investigations for banks and turnarounds.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Computing from the University of Kent at Canterbury. As well as becoming a Chartered Accountant he also qualified under the societies of the Securities Institute and the Insolvency Practitioners in the UK.
